Organic Food


Organic Food - the debate goes on. Is it really any better for us? It certainly costs a great deal more to take the natural route. It can be understood why people would want to buy organic food though, with all the insecticides, antibiotics and fertilizers that farmers now use. One of the drawbacks of organic fruit and veg i that it does not have as great a shelf life as the treated (normal) fruit and veg.

You may be interested to know that a study performed at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine has found that there is no benefit nutritional wise between eating organic food to non organic. Do we think it is worth the extra cash to eat organic food ?
